Q: Does the back of the unit sit flush against the wall?A: Yes, the back of this shelf is upright.
Q: How high is the next shelf up from the cabinet (3rd shelf down from the top)? The reason I ask is I have a door handle that may get in the way.A: The height of the next shelf up from the cabinet is about 36". Hope it helps.
Q: All the shelves including the top of the cabinet looks a bit tilted. Is it supposed to be like that or am I missing somethingA: Hi, from the pictures, the shelves appear tilted, but once you put it together, I can assure you they are not. The shelves and the cabinet are parallel with the floor. The only catch is, the back "legs" have adjustable screws in order to be able to level it properly (same principle as a washing machine, although on a washing machine you have 4 adjustable screws). Also, during the assembly process, at some point, everything might look, visually, offset, but don't worry, honestly, it's fine and as soon as you put all the screws in, everything sets in place as it should. Q: Would I be able to fit 3x box files in the cupboard at the bottom of this unit?A: There is a shelf which is optional to fit, without this the cupboard is 19in wide, 13in tall and depth 11.5 in.
Q: what is the height of the cupboard area, the space beneath it and between each shelf above it?A: The cupboard space has a shelf in it. So 7inches and 6 inches. The shelves above are 13inches and underneath cupboard is 7 inches
Q: Can the wood section of the unit be painted?A: Anything can be painted these days just use a good quality wood paint
